Question
My Master is planning to brand me eventually, but I'm a little nervous about the area.

We want to brand my pubic mound, and I've read about the horror stories...

So my questions are:
If he brands that area, will I lose all feeling down there?
What measures can we take to prevent a trip to the ER? ^_^;

In this particular case I am not that extremely intimate with branding more than tattooing or piercing. One thing that you should be aware of is that branding is not very reversible if at all. Most piercing can close again and leave almost no scaring. And tattoos can be laser removed. Branding is causing blistering and scaring that at times cannot be reversed.
You have to be very conscious and aware of your choice and be aware that the people applying the brand has done it previously and if you can see some of his previous works would be encouraged.

The sensitivity lost will at the skin level, and possibly very numb for a while. But it should not affect you internal sensitivity. The burning of the brand  will kill or deaden some nerve endings at the skin surface level.
Measures to avoid the ER?  Research Research Research and research. Read everything on the topic, ask for fist hand experiences, get first class and clean equipment, follow through with proper after care to the area to avoid infection. Brandings are tricky and not to be taken lightly. They are painful and the right amount of pressure for the red hot is critical. Too little will be a blister and too much can cause infection and scars. Please DO find people who have successfully accomplished this procedure and ask them how to do it.
