BDSM/How to "claim" an available slave

Question
I am rather new to this and want to know how to "Claim" an available Slave. Is it assumed as part of the contract or is it more involved?

Answer
Hi Frankie:

The claiming per se involves two parties. You and the claimed one. But i believe in some circles it is called "being under consideration" , "being protected by", "under training" or "protected by" before any formal claiming or establishing a formal bond of Master/slave Dominant/submissive. But some people jump right into it. It al depends what you agree with your opposing number.

To signify that a white collar is sometimes worn, while in other circles the word and reputation is bond enough. The 'contract' as it is, is what you make you make of it with your partner. Takes two to tango after all. Never make assumptions, but spell out expectations and define them, before both agreeing to anything.
Be well in the meantime.
