I have always been very submissive and have not been able to have that satisfied in previous relationships.  I very recently met someone who is dominant (less than a month).  So far this is everything I feel I was missing in the past.

As this is so new I was wondering some things.  Because I am submissive I enjoy being degraded and punished and rewarded.  I understand this and why it is exciting.  Sexually I have never been dominant and am curious to understand what the dom enjoys.  For me, I want to be tied up with my face pressed into the floor while I get spanked.  I feel I am the one receiving pleasure in this situation but I am pretty sure it is mutual, but I just want to understand what is exciting from that side so that I may be a better sub.

And an question on a completely different vein, are there dom/subs that stay together, or is it more likely that it is short term and the sub continually searches to find a new dom?  I realize there is so much I don't understand about this and any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.

You need to sit down and talk with your Dom as to what he receives from the sessions with you.  Each Dom gains something else from giving to a sub and in a different manner.  I can understand your need as well it makes since.  And I am sure your Dom most gain something from it or he would not be willing to take the time to give you the sessions.

No I know a lot of Dom, and subs that stay together for a long time, they learn and grow together.  It is a very exciting time in both your lives to have open honest communication and to try things and grow together.
