I am new into this scene, something I have always desired but was tired of playing the Dom role. I have found someone who took me to sub space? yesterday.
Is it normal to feel relaxed, but lost at the same time?
He is a very caring Master and safe words are used and were.
I am feeling very lonely right now. Even though I have heard from him several times via email, I just feel "lost?"

First congratulation on your finding someone you can let go with. I know what a relief that is.

I want to make sure I understand your question. You are feeling the surrender but it scares you because this is a new role for you and you dont want to mess it up (lost)

I am here to reassure you that YES it is very normal. I have been in the scene for some time and to be honest when i started a new relationship i get that same feeling. Mainly, because to be allowed teh chance to be authentic with someone is bot scary as well as exciting at the same time.

The lost feeling might be a sense of ... her is this Master who made me feel my surrender... now where do we go from here? Is he as interested in me as i am in him? Will he stick around or is this a short term experience?

If i may suggest you write down some of your thoughts and feelings as they pertain to you feelings and experience. I know a lot of people resist writing out their thoughts and feelings but if you can do that as you get to know him better you will have teased out your feelings making it easier to talk with this Master and or others you meet in the future.

I hope that i have offered you some thoughts and ideas that may assist you in those feelings of being lost...
