My gf just moved in with me and found some of my old bondage ropes and such and wants to use them with me. She knows that i was part of the bdsm lifestyle when i was younger but did not know that I still show interest. She now want to experience rope play and bondage with me. Before I "play" with her i would like her to learn something, and visit a sanctuary to see where her interests lie. Long time to get here but my question is: Do you know any sanctuaries in the Chicago area open to visitors possibly with educational classes? The sanctuary that i went to now longer is there. Any links to any mistresses/clubs in the Chicago area would also be appreciated.

Master Z of Chicago runs The Leather Sins Center (or a name very close to that with "sins" in it).  If you can't find it, write back to me.  He puts on two substantial BDSM conferences each year.  "Sinsations in Leather" (http://www.sinsationsinleather.com/mainframset.htm) the first weekend in April.  He also puts on "Kinky Kollege" in November.  If you go, please say "Hi" to him from Dr Bob.

The other upscale club is Galleria Domain (http://www.galleriadomain.org/).  I've presented there before and it's a spectacular dungeon with great leadership.  They also put on educational demos.  I did fire play when I was there a few years ago.

Chicago is also home to Shibaricon, the world's largest rope conference.  http://www.shibaricon.com/  It's over Memorial Day weekend and I highly recommend it.  It's put on by friends of mine.
