Question
i like to think I'm a dom in the bedroom and I've had a couple master/slave relationships in the past but the girls I've had them with tell me that they never truly saw me as a master because I'm a very timid person in the "regular world". can i be a master with a shy nervous personality or can it not be done?

Thank you for your question..i hope that i can offer you some insight that will be helpful



As a slave i feel it is important for the master to be true to who he or she is... personality, just as in being a slave i dont believe there are any distinct personality traits required.. i have know slaves who surrender to whom are not submissive in their lives out side the relationship. I have know masters who are in service positions as a profession.. And who are not forceful and demanding in their  relationships.... and every thing in between.. The important aspect is to find a compatible slave.. one who surrenders to you because she desires that life with you... and accepts you as you are.. The first and foremost question is do YOU think you are a master? Is Mastery something that truly fits you. If in your heart of hearts feel it fits. Begin your own quest to learn things about the different styles and types of mastery and then see what fits for you and then evolve it into to what IS you.

I do think that masters should hone their management and leadership skills with in their relationship. Its also important to understand their particular slave's motives and how to tap into those motives and desires. To me mastery is unique and very personal... If i may say.. spend less time concerned with slaves that dont think you are dominant enough and spend more time developing and accepting who you are naturally... the right slave will come to you...
