BDSM/Anal sex and Enemas

Question
I am a sub that enjoys and loves anal play and being given an enema. On average I would say that I do both about twice a week. Should I be concerned with the side effects of this type of play, other than the obvious possible stretching?

Answer
Actually, yes. Too many enemas too many times can result in possible infections, either to the anal canal, or the lower intestines, or both, which would require antibiotic therapy to cure.

I would think about every two weeks would be safer, plus make those times "extra special", as there would be two weeks between enemas.

As to other play, I wouldn't be overly worried about it, so long as you are safe, and not into extremes. Just make sure the toys are sterile, and that you use a good water based lube. Petroleum based lubricants can lead to damage of your expensive toy collection. I hope this helps.
