Question
I am kind of been in a Dom/Sub relationship for 3 years. In the last two months we have defined it as d/s. Today he asked me if I wanted to be a collared sub. I was wondering what the differences are since I am sure there are. Any help would be great thanks.

First off a Dom/sub and D/s are the same type of relationship.  Now the second part of your question he is asking you for the most part if you wish a symbol of your relationship in having a collar.  The Collar is a symbol like one would have a wedding ring; it lets other know that you belong to him.  So he wants to know if you are ready for the next step in letting people know your place in your relationship, and only you can answer that for him.  He is ready to let others know or he would not be offering you the collar.
