Question
I am looking for a licensed, professional counselor, therapist, or psychologist that is familar, and supportive, with the BD SM Lifestyle.

I live in the gulfport/biloxi area, but could travel to New Orleans or Mobile areas if needed.

I've found the KinkAwareProfessionals website but the closest one I can find is 200+ miles away.

Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.

If you absolutely require to have a face to face counseling I would suggest to join any of the local social Kink groups.

probably there might be resources and skills known by other fellow members or point you in the right direction.


I am not quite sure what level of counseling you desire to pursue. There are people who are kink aware and can counself over the phone too Such as: http://www.drrobynphd.com/

Depending on the type of counseling and the level of involvement you need, other alternatives could be used. If you just need someone to talk  there are chat groups in yahoo and AOL to exchange points of view. Also there are great message boards in http://bondage.com/ and the membership is free.
