Question
Recently my windows, sunrrof, and power locks quit working.  It was kind of odd how it happened.  One day they would work and the next day they wouldn't.  Now they haven't worked for a week or so.  I keep reading about a circuit breaker, but have no clue where it is.  I would appreicate it if you could help me.

Answer
Don,
I am not a knowledgable with the 5-series cars as I am with the older 3-series.  I will try to help as much as possible.  Underneat the driver's side rear seat there are some relays.  Pop this seat up and they should be plainly visible.  I would check all of the fuses to make sure none are blown.  If none are blown, it is probably your relay.  You need to research on the internet which relay controls the windows, sunroof, etc...
I cant offer much help with this, but I have heard this is a notorious problem with the E34 5-series.

Let me know if I can help anymore,
 Josh

Expertise

I can answer questions related to the BMW e30. These are the cars produced from 1984-1991 (1992 for convertable) in the United states. I am more fluent with the six cylinder models, although few things changed for the 4 cylinder cars. I know most of the problematic areas of these cars, and have found ways to fix them.

Experience

I have owned six different E30's over the last 10 years. I do all my own work, and know about ever nut and bolt on these cars.
