BMW/1995 BMW 325i transmission fluid change

Question
Emanuel, I have a '95 BMW 325i with 75000 miles on it.  It runs great with inspections 1 & 2 complied with when needed. but it seems to take longer than I think it should to shift into the last gear.  The engine has to reach 25-2600 rpm before it slips into gear.  Would it be prudent to change the fluid.  I have had people tell me it is never to be changed but no one seems to know for sure.  Could changing it be detrimental to the xmission?

Answer
im guessing it is an automatic transmission? 2500 2600 rpm is not that uncommon of a shift point from gear to gear for your car. Im not following the problem. Changing the oil will not effect the timing, it will just if anything reduce friction (cause less vibration / grinding).
