Question Check engine light came on- had local auto parts plug in car and said problem is MAF sensor. Is there any way to test sensor ? Will replacing sensor make light go off if this is the problem or do I need to do something else. Please advise on what I should do. The car is running fine with light on..Thank you !!
Answer my friend regarding your question you cant check the MAF sensor by yourself, its found inside the air flow part(cylindrical black shaped plastic) it could tested just by using computer.but you can clean it by opening the air flow part and use cleaning spray to clean the inner side of the air flow may be this will solve your problem still the engine light may not turn off because the memory of your car should be reset.
