Question
Trying to replace rear shocks. How do you get the upper part of the back seat out... Thanks

Answer
You shouldnt have to remove the upper part of the rear seat to get to the rear shocks on that vehicle. But to answer your question there are plastic fasteners that have to be removed from the top rear deck, then you simply pull the bench toward the front of the car and up.

I replaced my shocks by removing the entire wheel hub assembly then with a spring clam compress the spring, and remove the shock. hope this helps.

I can probably answer any BMW related service and installation question. I have done all sorts of installs on mine, and have replaced all of the major components. Let me know if you need any help.
