I can't seem to get the front driver side fog light out on my 1998 328i BMW, which has burnt out and needs replacement.  The owners manual says simply place a screwdriver in and remove the latch holding it into place.  The only thing I see is a small screw on the bottom, which I have loosened, but nothing happened.
Any thoughts

there shouldnt be a screw to unloosen... If the car has the factory fog light housings there should be a t shapped release (like a plastic lever) you push it out with a screw driver or finger and the light pops out. Its hard to see the release lever but its there, on the outer edge of the housing. Just feel for it. Good Luck.
