I NEED TO REPLACE A FRONT WHEEL HUB ON A 328IS 96.. THE BEARINGS ARE MAKING TOO MUCH NOISE. CAN IT BE DONE MITHOUT MUCH DIFFICULTY? DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL TOOLS? I DO NEED A 46 MM SOCKET
Its difficult i replaced the rear on my E36 and it took me 4 hours I managed to do it with a few home made ghetto presses and a sledge hammer but definately would never do it again... You will need a 32mm socket and a special bmw press do to it right... Its a nightmare... go to a shop seriously, youll thank me for it.
