BMW/Trying to remove back seat of car

Question
I've got an 88 BMW 325iC...determined that the fuel pump is bad and now trying to get back seat off to get to it...Is there a trick to removing seat w/o damaging it?

Answer
Winslow,
There is no risk of damage, as this is how the seat is designed to be removed.  Grab the bottom of the seat and lift up.  The seat will give a little "pop" sound and lift right up.  There is an inspection plate on the passenger's side, remove this to see the top of the gas tank.

Expertise

I can answer questions related to the BMW e30. These are the cars produced from 1984-1991 (1992 for convertable) in the United states. I am more fluent with the six cylinder models, although few things changed for the 4 cylinder cars. I know most of the problematic areas of these cars, and have found ways to fix them.

Experience

I have owned six different E30's over the last 10 years. I do all my own work, and know about ever nut and bolt on these cars.
