Hi Emanuel,,

i asked you a question about my car 15 days ago,,it is a 1997 318i sedan,,thank you so much for your quick response, you told me that the problem sounds like a bad o2 sensor,, i went to my mechaniz again,, he checked the car and find an error code of P1423,, he could not understand this code because he said that this is a special code for BMWs,, i wonder what this code means? and how much does it cost to figure out the problem,, thanks alot..

Hey that code is for an auxilary emmisions,

Basically what that means is that your secondary air pump volume is too low to one of the banks.
