I just bought a 520i BMW. I would like to know if it possible to convert from European to American specs?

Hi, what exactly are you trying to achieve by the conversion... American specs are usually less desireable (loss in horsepower).  I think the only think you would have to worry about if trying to import the car would be emmissions. im not sure what Euro system you guys are at now Euro3 Euro4 etc... but It would have to be US legal catelitic converter etc. before u could register it. Hope this helps.
