Question
I have an old 1984 318I BMW and need to replace the fuse for the brake lights but I don't know where it is.  I tested the bulbs they are fine. Can you help me?

Answer
Mary-Check your service manual for the correct terminal for the brake lamps. It may also be referenced on the inside of the cover for the fuses.
Note-How do you know the fuse is bad...?-I would also consider the switch, located at the brake pedal/master cylinder. They often wear out-just think, every time you press your brakes you depress the switch, and like any other mechanical part, wear out!

Good luck,
Brian
