Question
I have a 87 BMW 735I,I want to remove the drivers seat so I can clean my carpet and, also try to straighten out my seat because it is leaning on one side, can you help me,step by step with this process.
              Thank you

Answer
Kenneth,
It should be VERY easy to do.  There are 4 bolts that hold the seats in, they are usually 17mm-19mm.  They will be pretty tight as well.  There should be one per corner of the seat, and they might have a plasic cap on them for aesthetics.
Being a 7 series you should have electric seats, and if so, you will have to disconnect some wires.  It's very simple, and I could do it in 5 minutes.

 Hope this helps,
 Josh

Expertise

I can answer questions related to the BMW e30. These are the cars produced from 1984-1991 (1992 for convertable) in the United states. I am more fluent with the six cylinder models, although few things changed for the 4 cylinder cars. I know most of the problematic areas of these cars, and have found ways to fix them.

Experience

I have owned six different E30's over the last 10 years. I do all my own work, and know about ever nut and bolt on these cars.
