Hi Don,
My 2002 BMW 325i (~53000 miles) has recently started giving me this problem. Sometimes, when i start the car, the AC blowers don't start.. I typically keep the blowers ON on the AUTO setting. When i hit the AC button, i can feel the compressor turn on.. but the blowers won't start.. The next time around, the blowers work again. What could be causing this?
Please advise. Thanks.

Your problem is dealing with the fan motor being worn.Check all the connections at the motor and also inspect the brushes while you are there.It does sound like the brushes are worn which can cause the erratic operation or the grounds to the motor are dirty.
