BMW Repair/drivers side headlight assembly

Question
I have a 2001 525i. The drivers side headlight aims very low on this car even
after adjusting the up/down adjustment to as high as it would go. Any
suggestions?  Can you adjust the whole lens assembly? I can aim the
passenger side up much higher but it is really
weird with one light close up and one adjusted out about the right distance.
Thanks

Answer
Have you owned the car since it was new?If not I would look into the front body panels where the headlights mount.Checking to see if there are any differences in either side ie.,kinks in the mounting areas.Comparing both lights to make sure the left assembly is complete. An overall look see of the front nose panel on the drivers side, making sure there isn't any bent pieces.
