Question
my 1988 BMW 735i won't start. it doesn't make any noise, but all the lights work and the radio and horn works...but its not turning over. can you help me.

Answer
The first place to start is to see if there is power getting to the starter solenoid when you turn it over.It is the black wire w/yellow trace(on the starter solenoid).Try jumping the battery pos to the terminal to see if the starter will engage.Checking for good clean grounds through out are important as well.
