Hey there, how are you. I got few problems with my bmw.. like everyone else..
1st- there is no heat or cold air that comes in the car? could it be the motor, when i turn the fan nothing moves
2nd- my car wont switch gears automatically. I have to go to D2 and run it up to 3000rpm and switch it to D then the car drives fine. Could it be the ECU?? and how do i Install it myself???

Your no heat problem sounds like the fan motor,that is assuming that you FEEL heat when it warms up.The transmission problem is a problem.I would service the tranny if possible to check if there is any debris in the tranny pan(clutch material).I don't believe the ECU would cause it not to shift like it is doing now.Not knowing the milage or year,I would see about having the fluid/filter changed.If you want to attempt the repairs you shoulod purchase a Bentley manual for the car.They are great and give lots of information,they are costly but in the long run well worth it.
