Question
I have a 1997 BMWic with factory installed CD changer.  Sometimes my homemade CDs don't work.  In this case, I'm using music CDs that worked on one recording but not on another.  On the two that don't work, I get a message that there is a "CD Error" or, using the copy of that CD, it tells me the slot is empty.  They are CD R-.  Any suggestions?

Answer
This is more of an audiophile question than a BMW question.  There are differences in types of CDs, and some don't play in certain players.  Check with someone at a Best Buy or similar

Sorry you decided to rate me low.  Your question isn't a BMW question at all, but I opted to try to help you out anyways.  I gave my time for no reason.  Sorry you didn't appreciate it.
