Question
I have a 1984 733 BMW and recently replaced the Air Filter and yet my car still dies on me. I had it towed and then looked at and was told it is either a filter issue or Air Flow sensor problem. Today it died while I was driving on the freeway. After sitting for a while it does start up, but ends up dying and sounds like It is not getting gas, but there is plenty of gas in it. What could it be? thanks in advance!

Answer
Being a BMW that old I would suspect looking at the intake bellows to make sure there are No cracks in it and checking the grounds.Looking closely at the battery ground, making sure the braided wire isn't green at all. That is your body ground. And to check for fuel use a fuel pressure gauge, just because the gauge says theres fuel there may not be any of it pumped.
