Question
Do new plugs need gap set or is the gap from box OK? Using ngk plugs Getting error codes E-4, E-3, A-8, CA and Cb on code reader after putting in plugs.

Answer
I am unfamiliar with the codes you have given.Readers do give different information. As for the plugs if they are what BMW accepts type, heat range, etc they should be fine.If there is a plug gap listed on the tag under the hood then I would adjust it to that setting
