I have a 1994 BMW 325 Convertible with a manual trans. The speedo cluster does not work but the car will run and if left unattended the battery will go down. Will replacing the cluster solve the problem?

Possibly, but not very likely.

Have the battery checked somewhere....Sears, most any car parts place. That's the most likely cause.

Second would be a drain in the system somewhere.  These can be tough to track down.

Cluster isn't likley.  If you're changing it anyways, fine, but I wouldn't change it with the hope of resolving this.
