may i use " PENTOSIN "ATF for my transmission
No,the oil you mentioned Pentosin 7.1 is used for power steering for the transmission you need to use a special one from BMW.It is really expensive as they are not normally replaced.It is considered a lifetime fluid.To get the correct fluid contact the dealer.I hope you haven't disabled your car.There is no dipstick I believe so filling it is rather hard.If you have transmission problems I hate to say it maybe time to find another one.The last customer I had that had a problem he ended up buying a new one at about 5000.00.The fluid change did not cure his problems.
