BMW Repair/1994 325I fuel pump issues

Question
My daughter has a 94 352I. One day it just stopped running.  WE have replaced the fuel pump twice.  It will run for a while then it starts acting up.  It will die in the middle of an intersection, it won't start sometimes after she has driven it, but it will start after it has sat for awhile. The towing bills and fuel pumps are killing me.  Could it be a relay problem or a crank sensor?  Any help would be appreciated

Answer
I would check your body grounds. The fuel pump gets it ground through the body so at the battery check for any green at the braided cable and clean the battery ends as well.Checking all the relays for any corrosion is a good idea as well. This is one time when green isn't good.
