Question
When I turn the key it sometimes just spins without starting then I have to repeat a few times and it keeps doing it till it eventually catches and starts....I'm thinking it needs a new starter...so my question is how difficult is it to change out? and could the starter be fixed without replacing it?

Answer
It does sound like the starter is acting up.To replace the starter isn't a difficult task, although if you are not familiar with how to replace it there maybe problems. The starter bolts use a Torx type socket.Call bavarian autosport(18005352002)they can assist you in getting a reman unit.
