Question
Hello. I was wondering if it was possible to drop the oil pan on this 92 525i without having to remove other components? I want to replace the oil pan gasket.

I'm not sure which engine you have but the flat rate time(book time) is only about 4.6 hours.To me that means you probably have to lift the engine up to gain clearance enough to replace the gasket/pan.So thinking about that I would think the only thing might be the radiator fan/shroud everything else would be secured and held up.And possibly the oil pump if you are replacing the pan.
