Question
My blower moter has not worked for a long time but cold air (ac) and heat would still come out of the vents ~ not hard though. Today there is no air/ heat coming from the vents at all. Any idea what could cause this. Is my car ok to drive still?

I have a BMW 735il 1991

Answer
The cold and hot air that you felt was just the heat/air that was passing through the heater box, with it stopping it could be a few things.First the heater motor should be checked to get it working again. The second is making sure the doors in the plenum doors are still opening and closing, looking to se if there is any debris in the cowling that would stop any air flow.Is it save to drive? well that depends on how cold you can handle while driving. As long as there is no overheating of the engine and you where the proper attire to stay warm ,I would say yes.....but get it repaired it is a BMW
