Question
I have a 95yr  525 wagon.Whenever i turn on the A/C the egines cuts off unless you keep your foot the gas peddle. When your down on the road it runs great but once you come to a stop that when it cuts of.Someone told me it's my  Idle Control Valve or the CCV.

Second question, my left front chair does not incline backwards, seems like the motor is broke.Everyone in town can't fix it since we dont have a BMW shop aronud my neighbourhood.I usually do most of the servicing on my own but the idling and chair issue seems to be out of my capabilities.

Please advice

Answer
Well it could be many things with the idle but I'm sure the idle control valve has something to do with it.Does the a/c work when it is turned on? it may not be turning causing it to draw the motor down. You need to find out how much of a current draw you are getting. As the second question goes do you hear motors moving? The seat will have to be removed to be fixed. Many times the screw loosen and the gears slip a tooth or two.A little time and lots of patience it all can be realigned.
