Question
hi John.could you advise where starter motor is located.having to go from underneath as locked out of car due to flat battery and deadlocks on.i believe i need to feed positive terminal of starter to release locks.many thanks rick

Answer
Not sure on the 3.0 liter engine, but on the US models it's on the bottom on your driver's side.

I like your idea.  BUT, I'm not certain it will work.  You'll need to go the the battery side of the starter relay, not the starter itself.  If you go to the starter, you'll turn the starer over, but no power to the rest of the car.

I'm assuming you don't have your keys for some reason.  If you do, obviously use those.
