Question hello,my 1995 bmw e34 has a starting problem,it will fire up but misses for roughly ten seconds and then you have to rev it really hard to clear,once done so it runs perfect,but if you turn the engine off and restart it does the same thing again.once the temperature guage gets to halfway it starts perfect. i have changed plugs,air filter,fuel filter but still no change..do you think it could be a sticky injector as it has been stood previously for around six months..any help would be greatly appreciated..many thanks. nik
Answer I think you need to check the fuel pressure.Put a gauge on to see what the fuel pressure is.It sounds like the regulator maybe bad.You could have a leaking injector as well. That is why you need to check the pressure to see if(1) it is holding pressure (2)if it is with in spec and not too high
