Experience I have been an ASE Master Mechanic for 25 years.I have worked in many dealearships although BMW's are my favorite.I now have my own shop,specializing in BMW's.I have autocrossed and even gotten into mud running with my 4x4.(I am NOT a teacher and don't claim to know everything about the cars I never see.I hope to help you with your repairs and do expect some knowledge on your side.)
Question I just installed a new fuel pump and there is a loud vibration noise coming from the fuel feed line. The fuel pump is not vibrating just the line. Could it have something to do with the fuel pressure regulator or fuel relay? Please help as I am stumped.

Answer Your question is hard to understand.If the fuel pump is loud it is working but the fuel filter may need to be changed(probably if you have not done it)so the relay is working.To check the regulator you need to put a fuel pressure gauge on it to determine what it is and it should be about 2.5-3 bar
