BMW Repair - 95 bmw m3

Expert: John Kingery - 7/3/2009

Question
my m3 has developed a low speed vibration in the rear end. the car has also worn out the left rear tire prematurely.  i crawled under the car while on jack stands and could see the left side cv shaft had a wobble to it.  i was able to pull the cv shaft out of the differential with little resistance.  i would like any kind of information or help with this.

Answer
Sounds like it's time to go throught the rear end drive and suspension in detail.

If you have the capability and tools, get a Bentley manual for this e36 and check it all out.  Otherwise, get it to a dealer to diagnose.

Great car....keep on top of it.
