BMW Repair - Car stalls

Expert: John Kingery - 7/25/2009

Question
My 2000 BMW stalls out every time you start it. If you keep the gas pedal slightly pushed it tries to stay running. As soon as you let off the gas it stalls. Had a code come up. P1510. Do you have any idea what this code is and the part related to this code. Any help would be appreciated.

Answer
The code says the idle speed control valve is stuck.

You don't mention which model you have.

I suggest you go onto www.roadfly.com, look up hte message board for your model, and get more detail on the fix/replacment.  I understand it's pretty straight forward.
