Question hi expert theres a light that goes on and off and flickers just under the speedometer i think its a warning light it looks like this (!) could you tell me what this is please its a 1998 bmw316i cheers
Answer I believe the light that is coming on deals with Automatic skid control.I'm not sure where you are located and I do know there are slight differences in instrument cluster from US and Euro models of BMW.Making sure your tires are of the same size as required,as aftermarket wheels cause issues sometimes.Another thing to look at is checking your brakes,from fluid to pads to the exciter ring on the wheel bearing hub to make sure the hub is not rusted so that it cannot read the impulses on the speed sensor
