BMW Repair/1994 BMW 320i E36 Sedan ABS light comes on

Question
I recently puchased a 94 BMW 320i E36 and was told the Brake pads had been replaced and my mechanic confirmed they were new.
Now (Couple of weeks after purchase), the ABS light on the dashboard comes on and stays on during/after mid to heavy acceleration. Is this a case of needing to reset something, or an indication of something more serious?. Thanks in Advance!

Answer
What you will have to do is check the wheel speed sensor trigger wheels. The age of the car may have caused the "teeth" to either rust or fill so that the sensor can not read what the wheel is spinning. You can best see this while it in the air and inspecting where the wheel speed sensors attach. There is no reset, the light will go out when the problem is repaired.
