Question
i have a 2001 bmw 740il and i would like to replace the throttle position sensor but dont know were it is located, can you help

Answer
I'm not positive they still used them in 2001 on the E38's, but if the did, follow this:

- Remove the upper engine cover
- Working at the right side of the throttle housing, detach throttle position sensor electrical connector.
- Remove sensor mounting screws.
- Pull sensor off throttle housing.
