Question
My son just had this warning light come up on his 98 bmw 3 series car: a red circle with 3 horizontal lights coming out of each side. What does it mean? Thanks
The lights on BMW's are multiple for sure.I looked at one repair manual that I have to see which light it maybe.Ny guess it is on the right side of the dash(looking at it)I belive it is the brake ling light that you have on.Have your brake pads inspected.The sensors are on the left front,right rear wheels.But have all the wheels removed and the brakes inspected.If pads are needed, you also need to replace the sensors as well.

| Comment | Believe it or not, the BMV dealer said it just meant that a light had gone out. Your answer makes a lot more sense, as my son just came through the mountains on his way from Florida to Ohio. I have relayed the information to him. Thanks a lot for your help. Cindy | ||
