Question
I have a 2001 bmw 330i it starts great idles great as soon as i give gas hard i get a misfire i pull over and shut it off and turn it back on it idles great agin why?
Being an '01 you have OBDII which you can breakdown what maybe wrong.With the right scanner it can tell you which cylinder maybe misfiring.If it has more than 100k miles on the odometer it is time for a "tuneup".Filters and spark plugs are replace at this time.It may also need a coil or spark plug boot.The boots would have white burn marks if they are bad.But using a scanner will simplify the diagnosis
