Hi, i was just wondering if it is possible and what are the steps on putting 6 speed manual transmission on my 2002 automatic BMW 3.0i X5
would really appreciate answer of expert

In a word, DON'T.

These newer vehicles have a host of electronic and firmware that is very specific to the vehicle.  You could theoretically perform a swap, but it would likely cost more than the vehicle.

Far and away your best bet is to sell yours and get one with manual. Much cheaper, and fewer future problems.

By the way....I believe the 2002 came with a 5 speed, not a 6 speed.
