Question
Hi, my e28 idle around 500 and get unstable when warm, and dies sometime when come to stop. worse when AC is on. I noticed, fuel consumption gauge,doesn't go back to zero when plays up, it stay around the 5ml/gl. any ideas of what to check? (different control valve was the same.   THANKS.

You first want to check the fuel pressure to make sure it is correct(around 3bar)Also repair any oil leaks that maybe found as they will cause idle issues.Clean the throttle plate and make sure it is adjusted correctly,there should be about .002 clearance.And finally make sure the valves are adjusted correctly at .012.
