QUESTION: I have a 1982 BMW 733i 6 cil. is this car able to give trouble codes from its own computer. if so is there any scan tool to retrieve codes?

ANSWER: I am super glad to see that there is another 733i out there,I have one and its my favorite.Thats the good news,the bad news is no it does not have the trouble code capabilites.So any problems you have it needs to be done the old fashion way by starting with the basics.What problems are you having?

QUESTION: the problem is when I stop and  give gas to drive again in green ligth the car pull over it self and go, pull and go ,I have to give gas little by little to get the car driving well.

Many things need to be checked.The fuel pressure,spark plugs/dist cap and rotor.Checking the back pressure in the exhaust due to the age it maybe plugged.The air flow meter as well,check for any cracks and make sure the flap moves freely.The boots/ hoses(intake) for cracks and that they are not hard.I am leaning towards this thought that the intake bellows has a crack.
