hello i just got the radio fixed in my 740il 1998 but the display screen is faded so i can only see half of it. however i have a 6 disc cd changer in the truck that i cant figure out which button on the radio to push to listen to a cd

Push the 10th switch from the left, of the 12 available

6 buttons, left and right switches on each button.  The right side switch of the 5th button from the left.

If you're looking to tear the radio apart to replace the light bulb, I can't walk you through it on here.  Involves desoldering a bulb on the circuit board.
