HI, My BMW 318i (2002) is losing power while driving. Sometimes, the battery light blinks and the car continue. But sometimes, it goes off completely and takes many attempts before it starts again. Can anyone help with information please?

The battery light blinking maybe your clue to the repair.Check to make sure the car is charging by checking the voltage with a meter.If the voltage is low it will cause a loss of power the car needs to have each system work correctly,as it will be running off the battery causing an excessive draw on the system and cause eventual battery failure.Check the battery as well it too may have a bad cell.
