Question
My 535 Has good spark and 40 psi fuel pressure But cranks along time 2 or 3 min before starting. also the check engine light flashes constantly until the brake pedal is pressed .

Answer
The light that is flashing is so that you look at the service lights.When you press the brake pedal it checks the lights in the rear so to let you know the brake lights are working.The extened crank maybe tuneup,or checking the connecter under the intake for corrosion.Check all the body grounds too as they are the ground for the fuel pump.
